Where to Find Bomb Flowers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Bomb Flowers are in many places but are most commonly found along the floors and walls of Hyrule's Caves, which are often found along the way to quest areas and points of interest. So as you explore, look for caves along the side of hills, cliffs, and mountains, and be sure to crack open any breakable rocks as there is often good stuff on the other side, including Bomb Flowers.
The caves will also be marked on your Purah Pad map upon your first visit so you can easily find your way back for a chance to farm more Bomb Flowers. They can respawn after some time playing in Tears of the Kingdom, so revisit their spawn locations when you need to restock.
Common locations include
- Hyrule Caves
- The Depths
The Bottomless Cave
The Bottomless Cave, a bit to the south of Gutanbac Shrine and about on the mid-level of the Great Sky Island, has up to 8 Bomb Flowers. The lower cave entrance is along the south side of a large iced-over cliff with a tiny ruin and frozen tree right outside the cave entrance.
Some dangers to be aware of at the cave are two Like Like, the Cold Weather when traveling to the cave and the large gap in the bottom of the cave.

Six Bomb Flowers will be on the walls and floor along the path through the cave, but be sure to also check the ledge overlooking the main chamber for up to two more Bomb Flowers resting out of view.

Whistling Hill Cave
You can get up to five Bomb Flowers from the Whistling Hill Cave found a bit north of Teniten Shrine, located on the southeast side of a large rock found between Lake Kolomo and Whistling Hill. When you arrive for the first time, the entrance is blocked by breakable rocks that you can crack open with a blunt weapon to get inside.
Some things to consider while exploring this cave, aside from the Bomb Flowers, are the enemies that reside within. Also, if it's your first visit, you'll need to break down some breakable rocks and cut down green vines to fully explore this cave.

Tips for Finding Bomb Flowers
- Explore caves as you encounter them, crack open any breakable rocks with a blunt weapon or explosive, and cut down green vines that block your path, as there are usually goodies on the other side, including a chance to find Bomb Flowers.
- As you explore, look out for Blupee, a glowing blue rabbit-like creature that will often run to a nearby cave when they spot you.
- It's good to keep an easily replaceable weapon on hand so that you can Fuse a rock, boulder, or blunt Monster Parts to it for breaking open breakable rocks without losing durability on better weapons.
- A spear with a blunt object fused to it can decimate breakable rocks with its fully charged attack.
- Beware of Monsters as you explore caves, as they tend to dwell within.
- Complete Shrines and Unlock Skyview Towers so you can Fast-Travel to the locations that are not far from Bomb Flower caves.
Bomb Flower Uses
Bomb Flowers don't add a lot of Fuse Attack Power to your equipment, but it makes up for it by packing a massive punch upon impact detonation. Throw them or fire them from your bow to make quick work of enemies, Ore Deposits, breakable rocks, and even Link if he's too close to the blast.
Fuse Attack Power: 1
- Bomb Flowers adds an explosive to your weapons, shield, or arrows, suitable for one use each.
- Bomb Flowers can be used to perform a Bomb Jump.

The Depths
Bomb Flowers can be found in many places in The Depths, usually growing from the ground. One such area where you can find up to eleven Bomb Flowers is among the trees, grass, and gloom, just northwest of the Hyrule Field Chasm and Nisoij Lightroot, pictured on the map above.
For details on how to reach The Depths, use the main story quest walkthrough guide link below.
While in The Depths, it will be dark and sometimes difficult to spot Bomb Flowers as they can blend in with the environment.
To make Bomb Flowers easier to find, you can activate your Fuse ability as you explore to reveal their nearby locations. Just be sure to deactivate Fuse before picking them up.
Royal Hidden Passage
There are over twenty Bomb Flowers found deep within the Royal Hidden Passage, along with many other goodies, making it a great spot to explore and farm. However, you'll first need to fully investigate one of the Regional Phenomena of the main story quest to gain access.
After that, you can head to the Emergency Shelter in Lookout Landing to get inside the Royal Hidden Passage, but beware, many foes, breakable rocks, and challenges lurk inside.
For step-by-step details on how to investigate a Regional Phenomena, we've got you covered with our walkthrough guide below.
