Funko Is Throwing Away $30 Million Worth of Toys - IGN The Fix: Entertainment
Funko’s sending close to $30 million dollars worth of those bigheaded, soulless-looking vinyl figures to the landfill due to stock remaining unsold, taking up space in its warehouse. Funko’s been around since 1998, and since the massively successful dead-eyed bobbleheads were introduced in 2010, the company has churned out thousands of variations based on virtually every pop-culture franchise imaginable. #FunkoPop has been around for a while, so it’s surprising to see #Funko is throwing away its product. Dead By Daylight is getting the movie treatment, and Detective Pikachu 2 might’ve found a director.
